I received this as a gift from my daughter several months ago. Quo is a brand sold at Shoppers Drug Mart in Canada and surprisingly I had never tried any of their makeup. I did see this in Shoppers a few weeks ago, so it may still be available (I didn’t look at the price as it was a gift after all). Even though it may be unavailable, as a brand it always has sets available and I’d like to speak about the quality of the products.
I was pleasantly surprised at how soft the powders were and the lip products were creamy and pigmented without being waxy. The blush is quite pretty, the bronzer is much too orange for me and the highlighters are not good. There are two eyeliners, which are creamy and easy to apply, but didn’t even last throughout my makeup application before starting to smear. The eye shadows are not very pigmented but time and time again I was reaching for them, they were buildable and easy to blend.
This palette easily became one of my favourites for a quick makeup application, reaching for the pink and brown more often than the one with the purple colours. Compliments I received on my eyeshadow were too numerous to count. Even though I didn’t think the highlighter was good, it still paired very well with the blush and I was using it every time. I would just use my finger to apply the lipsticks and all 4 of the colours were flattering on me! Light and easy is how I would describe these products and I wouldn’t hesitate to buy a value set from this brand.
